According to reports, the company has decided to recall certain car models after getting fault in manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Details of models being recalled:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has decided to recall certain models i.e. Ford Edge (2012-2014), Lincoln MKX vehicles (manufactured between September 2, 2010-November 30, 2013), Ford Flex (2013-2014), Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles (September 12, 2011-November 30, 2013), Ford Taurus (2013-2014) and Lincoln MKS vehicles (August 25, 2011-November 30, 2013).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Main Reason To Recall These Many Vehicles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although there is not any official announcement made by the company, but a spokesperson of Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) said that it might be due to failure of half-shaft retention circlip installation in a proper way. When it is not installed properly, then there are high chances that the half-shaft can move outward and disengage from link-shaft and cause serious problems while driving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What Are The Aftereffects: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aftereffects of disengagement of half-shaft and link-shaft can stop power supply to wheels. If it happens while driving a car in full speed, then the vehicle may crash. The second aftereffect is that if you exit from the car without applying parking brakes, then it may roll away and can cause serious damages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How To Safeguard: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has recalled all the vehicles that might have problems with half-shaft and link-shaft. The company will notify all the dealers about the status of it, in case it doesn&#8217;t resolve the issue soon, then dealers will replace the link-shafts and half-shafts of all the affected cars without any charge. The company has asked all the dealers to provide proper support to all the people and take care of such vehicles.
