(NYSE:VZ)<\/b>\u2019s subsidiary, Verizon Wireless announced the extension of network coverage in New Hampshire\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/verizon-wireless-enhances-network-coverage-130900080.html\">Pelham<\/a> by enhancing its fourth generation or 4G Long Term Evolution or LTE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Coverage In Pelham<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ)\u00a0had launched its 4G LTE services in December 2011 in New Hampshire. It had improved its network coverage in both northern Pelham, as well as, western Windham along Route 128 now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Verizon Wireless disclosed that it had completed a $245 million wireless network improvement program across New England in 2013. It resulted in increasing its regional network investment to $3.6 billion after its launch in 2000. The company is the biggest operator in the 4G network space covering over 97% of the U.S. populations. Its network was also available to close to 305 million people in over 500 markets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Background<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Verizon Wireless\u2019 executive director of network Dave MacBeth said that the 4G LTE has been changing the mode of interaction that the customers have with the world by using the next generation applications or devices or solutions. Through the investment in wireless broadband, the company said that it was focusing on local economies and communities where its customers live.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ)\u00a0has been ranked highest among the national wireless service providers list in New England States such as Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire in the J.D. Power 2014 Study on Wireless Network Quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Helping Kids<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Separately, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ)\u00a0said that kids and <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/verizon-helps-kids-kids-diabetes-150000104.html\">teens<\/a>, who have type 1 diabetes, and participating in the summer camps of diabetes could use its network technology even while they swim, play or rock climbing and the process measures their blood sugar content automatically and determines the extent of insulin they require.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company disclosed that the pancreas, an artificial system, measures the level of blood glucose every few minutes through a continuous glucose monitor.
