The net revenues came at $7.9 million in the third quarter. The company also presented its case for the female condom in the AIDS conference held in Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The key points p<\/b><b style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">resented at conference<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The Female Health Company (NASDAQ:FHCO)\u00a0presented a strong case for the female condom. The focus was on the benefits and strengths of FC2. The company said that the benefits outweigh the costs. It can be worn inside the birth canal. It helps the women to get a cover that stops the semen from entering into the womb. The women can stay safe from the sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancy. The female condoms provide a way to women to get the added protection from the various problems. Women can wear the female condom hours ahead of the sex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The management paid a tribute to the Late Lucie van Mens in the conference. She was the director of the programme development and a strong advocate for FC2. She was one of the travelers who were on board in flight MH17. The promotion of female condoms was associated as tribute that will always remain in memory of van Mens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The growing demand<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Women are getting more conscious about the sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancy. They intend to take a decision on their hands. The female condoms are not easily available as the male condom. Also, it costs 20 times more than the male condoms. The industry of female condoms has just started to gain the required attention. It can see a strong demand in the coming years as it is considered as 98% effective when used rightly.
