The winner of the art contest will be presented with $10,000 award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The winners<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Cordish Companies and Penn National Gaming, Inc (NASDAQ:PENN)\u00a0have come together ahead to promote the vibrant and colorful history of Hudson valley. There will be winners in different categories like one sculpture winner, one painting winner and one photo winner. Each winner will be entitled to receive prize money of $10,000. The innovative art pieces of the other contestants will also get a chance to be displayed for sale in the Live Hotel restaurants and spa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The theme of the art contest will be the life and beauty of the region. Artists can register for the contest on the online website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livehotelcasinony.com\/\">www.livehotelcasinony.com<\/a> by September 30. The submission date will be three months. A special committee including the members from Cordish, Penn, the Orange County Arts Council and others will decide upon the winners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The objective<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The art contest organized has a clear objective of promoting the beautiful and varied culture of the Hudson Valley. It will be brought together at one place. The Cordish wants to present the artwork of the contestants in their every hotel room and at all places in the resort. The guests staying in the hotel will come across the local talent of Hudson region. They can see and appreciate the artwork. Also, they will have the flexibility and convenience to buy these artworks from the hotel itself.\u00a0 The art contest is encouragement for the local artists as well as the arts organization.
