Way2ride is expected to make taxi experience faster and easier for passengers across Philadelphia in terms of making payments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Way2ride App Huge Success<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The app is set to allow passengers make payments to 1,400 of the 1,600 taxi cabs in the city by essentially downloading the app. The app comes with digital receipts that are normally emailed to passengers and stored in the app for easy access. Launch in Philadelphia follows the app enjoying huge success in New York City according to the company\u2019s Vice President for Taxi systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Way2ride Growth in New York <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Way2ride app has already been accepted by more than 11,000 NYC yellow taxis as well as \u201cborough taxis\u201d consequently being used to complete more than 500,000 mobile transactions. After Philadelphia launch, VeriFone Systems Inc. (NYSE:PAY)\u00a0plans to launch the app in more than 70,000 payment enabled taxis worldwide. (NYSE:PAY)\u00a0has confirmed it has launched EMV-ready payment terminal from VX Evolution, in Saudi Arabia in partnership with International Turnkey systems Group. VeriFone\u2019s VX520 the most advanced countertop payment system as well as VX675 world\u2019s smallest full function wireless handheld payment device\u00a0 have already been certified by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">VeriFone\u2019s payment terminals have been developed to provide the latest capabilities with robust security abilities able to meet the needs of banks and merchants.
