Last week, the company formally announced its entry into the wearable technology with the launch of Salesforce Wear and Wear Developer pack. The two instruments are essentially created for software developers for their use in creating a range of wearable devices related applications and are apt to serve business organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Two Tools<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company&#8217;s Salesforce Wear Program is an application development platform where a range of open source reference applications, codes, demos and other documentation are available for developers. The program will help developers to create new applications for wearable devices that are aimed to put their business in focus. During an interview with FOX Business, Salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM)&#8217;s Senior Vice President, Daniel Debow commented, \u201cWearables are the next phase of the mobile revolution\u2026this is the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As of now, the main aim of the company is to reach out to enterprises and give them the experimental ability, as they are relatively new in their adoption of wearable technology. With this initiative, the company is systematically positioning itself to be the benefitor as wearable technology starts getting traction amohg the enterprises.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Partnerships<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company launched its developer program with ready-to-use applications, which could be used for Samsung&#8217;s 2 Smartwatch and <b>Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)<\/b>&#8216;s Glass. Along side these giants, Salesforce also succeeded in partnering with Pebble for its smartwatch and <b>ARM Holdings plc (ADR) (NASDAQ:ARMH)<\/b> among others. To summarize, Salesforce decision to debut in the Wearable market, which is still in its nascent stage, is a big leap forward. With the debut, the company has become the only service provider to enterprises. Expectations are firm that Salesforce.com, inc.
