The operations of this one-of-its-kind facility are expected to begin in 2015. The new facility at Greenville would most likely employ approximately 80 people at the new plant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About The Advanced Power And Water Manufacturing Facility<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The advanced Power and Water manufacturing facility will be situated at Greenville, which is the existing manufacturing site of General Electric. In order to expand the advanced manufacturing capabilities, the company plans to infuse around $400 million over the time period of next decade in Greenville, SC. John Warner, the founder of InnoVenture business conference as well as an activist for South Carolina\u2019s high-tech economic development, said that this center of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) will help in adding more value to the already deep industrial base as well as advanced manufacturing cluster.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Characteristics Of The New Facility<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The first advanced Power and Water manufacturing facility in Greenville will leverage the new techniques as well as production processes of GE.<\/li>\n<li>This new facility will enable the employees to design, test as well as bring the products of the company to the market in a faster way.<\/li>\n<li>The facility will capitalize on the investments worth $500 million in Power &amp; Water.<\/li>\n<li>The new facility is said to be the GE\u2019s commitment towards advanced manufacturing.<\/li>\n<li>This advanced Power and Water manufacturing facility will be more or less like the breeding ground for building of new as well as advanced manufacturing processes.<\/li>\n<li>The facility will enable General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) to bring about rapid prototyping centre for the businesses of Power &amp; Water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Further plans of General Electric<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) has plans of introducing new products in the area of Power &amp; Water.
