The company, Nokia said, was bought in order to enhance the radio capabilities in network business. It is important to note that Mesaplexx is renowned for its unique expertise in developing compact as well as high performance radio frequency (RF) filter technology primarily for the mobile industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Nokia\u2019s Take on the Deal<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK)\u00a0said that radio access base stations\u2019 Nokia Flexi family offers unique solutions which are meant for striking the right balance in form factor, power output and energy efficiency. Nokia also added that the use of Mesaplexx technology, which is very advanced, can help it in further enhancing the aforementioned characteristics and will also help in bringing down the small cells form factor by 30% and even more, in the due course of time. The company also said that it was working continuously in improvement of radio systems while at the same time, making them lighter, smaller and more competent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Statement from the Executive Vice-President, Mobile Broadband, Nokia<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Executive Vice-President, Mobile Broadband,Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) said that the people who are familiar to the radio technologies also know that filters are a particular area where there is a scope of innovations, which in turn can yield significant improvements in terms of performance. He added that the expertise of Mesaplexx will help in the improvement of Nokia\u2019s radio performance, which would lead to higher capacity, as well as more efficiency of networks.
