Boston, MA 06\/06\/2014 (wallstreetpr) \u2013 William Companies, Inc. (NYSE:WMB)<\/b>, a leading energy infrastructure company, has been engaged with estimating shippers\u2019 interest at its Eminence Storage Field.<\/p>\n
Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Co\u00a0unit of the company reported to start an open season on Tuesday to estimate interest in natural gas storage space at its Eminence Storage Field, which is in Covington County, Mississippi. The open season is scheduled to run from the start date of June 3, 2014 through July 16, 2014. The more than one month period will offer storage service for as much as 8.7 billion cubic feet of withdrawals everyday and up to 7.3 billion cubic feet of input on everyday basis. The Eminence salt cavern storage\u00a0space will also provide a storage space of up to 73.1 billion cubic feet.<\/p>\n
Covington County, Mississippi storage capacity is expected to become available in August, which, as per a website posting, presently, has an operating capacity of approximately 12 billion cubic feet. Tranco\u2019s 16,400 kilometer pipeline system is capable of carrying 9.9 cubic feet gas every day. WPZ owns interests in 3 big interstate natgas pipelines that together deliver 14% gas to the U.S. The volume of gas and imported liquefied natural gas is transported from the Gulf Coast and Appalachia supply zones to the markets of Northeast, mid- Atlantic, Southeast, as well as to the New York City market place.<\/p>\n
