The two companies have already enabled a range of custom or analog flow, which includes, Spectre\u00ae APS, Virtuoso Layout Suite, Virtuoso Analog Design Environment and Virtuoso\u00ae Schematic Editor for the 14nm Tri-Gate process. Other than those, the two companies are also integrating their operations to develop Encounter Digital implementation system, Tempus Timing Signoff solution and QRC Extraction Solution for Cadence digital flow. Through these design flows, the customer of Intel can benefit from the power, area and performance of its 14nm process technology.<\/p>\n
Fit For Mobile Market<\/b><\/p>\n
Alongside this, Cadence Design Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CDNS) is also involved in providing low power platform for the LPDDR4-3200 PHY to Intel’s 14nm custom foundry. The platform has data rates as high as 3200 Mbps and memory clock of 1.6 GHz, which could help to fully realize the capabilities of LPDDR4 technology. Cadence technology is best fit for the mobile market, which is in constant lookout of high memory performance, low cost, low power and compact size systems.
