(NYSE:VTR)<\/strong> recently acquired American Realty Capital Healthcare Trust, Inc. It might be a good deal from VTR&#8217;s point of view, but what about investors? The question that has been asked by almost all the shareholders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both the companies decided to merge with each other on 2nd of June after analyzing excellent market conditions which looked supportive for expansion. According to the merger deal, the shareholder of American Reality Healthcare Trust Inc. will receive $11.33 in cash for each common stock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As soon as the merger took place, the shareholders of American Reality Capital seemed confused as there were mixed reactions coming from the market. If you have a close look at the financial results of Q1, you will come to know as why there are mix reactions coming from the market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Financial Results of American Reality Capital Healthcare Trust, Inc. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the reports made public by the company, revenues increased by flat 199% over a period of 12 months. It earned total revenues of $56 million in the Q1 of the current year, while the revenues generated by the company in the Q1 of the previous year were $18.7 million. When it comes to funds from operations, company grew by 173% in last one year. AFFO of\u00a0Ventas, Inc. (NYSE:VTR) increased by 159% over a period of one year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When company has shown incomparable growth in last one year, then continuing as a separate entity would be a better option, but the board of directors decided to sell Ventas, Inc. (NYSE:VTR). If it would be nice if shareholders were allowed to be a part of the excellent growth of the company, but board of directors decided to sell out company at a time when there were a lot of opportunities waiting for the company. The fact has certainly raised the question on the decision of the board of directors as why they decided to sell the company at the wrong time?
