The launch comes in tune with the more number of people preferring the usage of mobile or smart devices at a cost of desktop or laptop.<\/p>\n
Salesforce1 Mobile App<\/b><\/p>\n
The company disclosed that its salesforce1 mobile app has over 30 additional features enabling the users to service, market, sell, and engage from any mobile gadget. This will allow companies to transform their business from any mobile device just like Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/b> has done seven years back with the launch of the smartphone igniting a revolution in computing.<\/p>\n
There is no doubt that the emergence of mobile enterprise applications will be the driving force for enterprise mobility in the future thus creating newer ways and means of working and transforming the existing business processes. This is a key trend being witnessed in the current year.<\/p>\n
The company has quoted Ovum\u2019s senior analyst Richard Absalom as saying that for organizations, which already has a mobility tactic in place, the next course of action will be to throw open mobilizing internal processes as much as possible. This will enable workers to carry out their primary tasks from any device that they may have on hand, irrespective of the place they are. Salesforce.com also quoted COMSCORE, Inc. (NASDAQ:SCOR)<\/b>, a research organization, as disclosing that people spend their time more on mobile apps than desktops. The Ovum analyst echoed this view by saying that 77% of the connected devices are expected to be smartphone by the end of the year 2017.<\/p>\n
Salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM)\u00a0\u00a0disclosed that people spend only 4% of their time on productivity apps built for business.
