Wright stepped in to fill the gap left following the exit of Chairman Peter Rose. As such, Mr. Wright will be the company&#8217;s chairman of the board of directors. His board membership dates back to 2008. His experience is counted on to support the company&#8217;s growth strategy. After years of lackluster performance, shareholders in Expeditor demand nothing less than serious efforts to achieve growth. The retirement of the co-founder and former CEO, Peter Rose, signaled the start of the high-level reorganization in the global logistics company. The exit of Mr. Rose surprised the market considering that the company had earlier announced that he would stay on up until May 2015.\u00a0 However, his exit will not only allow the existing management team to pursue growth aggressively without looking overshadowed, but the exit also takes to the next level the implementation of the changes supported by shareholders that included split of CEO and Chairman roles. The company reported 1Q2014 EPS of 42 cents against 41 cents estimated by analysts. Its revenue came in at $1.49 billion, below the estimated $1.50 billion for 1Q.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It may <b>TeleTech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEC) <\/b>some time before the provider of technology-based customer experience comes to terms with the exit of its SVP Corporate Development Raj Dani, who joined AVI-SPL as head of finance. Mr. Dani led TTEC through several achievements that included partnerships, alliances, acquisitions and investments.\u00a0 The company reported its 1Q2014 financial results on May 5, around the time when Mr. Dani left. It reported earnings of $0.42 per share, beating consensus estimate of $0.33. It generated revenue of $302.20 million in the quarter compared with $300.55 million that analysts expected. Both revenue and EPS were up on a year-over-year basis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Standard Motor Products, Inc. (NYSE:SMP)<\/b> continues its parts coverage with the aim completely covering domestically produced and imported vehicles. The company announced the addition of nearly 900 part numbers to its line of products.
