(NASDAQ:SCSC)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Wider distribution<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3D Systems partnered with ScanSource, Inc. ScanSource focuses on 3-D printing solutions sales and support. Under the agreement, 3D Systems will be the main vendor for ScanSource. The company will help in the distribution of the 3-D printing products of 3D Systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ScanSource is a leader in specialty technology products in North America, Europe and Latin America. With the deal, 3D Systems wants strategically to expand its reach to different geographic area and at the same time penetrate markets deeper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has been acquiring other companies strategically and making partnerships with others to diversify its products, which will also help in expanding its markets. Within the last five months, 3D system has reached collaborations with <b>Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS),\u00a0<\/b><em>The Hershey Co<\/em><b><i>.<\/i><\/b>and <b>Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS) <\/b>so that it can offer 3-D printing products in different industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Investor and analyst meet<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3D Systems will hold an investor and analyst meet on June 10, 2014. The senior management of the company will review its strategic initiatives, developments, operational highlights, product and market development plans and talk about the outlook of the company. It will also have a question and answer session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meet will be hold in New York\u2019s the New York Marriott Marquis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>3D Systems\u2019 founder nominated for award<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD)\u2019 founder Chuck Hull has been nominated for the 2014 European Inventor Award by the European Patent Office (EPO). Hull Hayes is also the inventor of 3-D printing technology. He has 76 US patents along with 18 European patents and 14 Japanese patents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hull is recognised for his groundbreaking invention Stereolithography (SLA<sup>(R)<\/sup>), the original 3D printing technology. He also co-created the STL format.
