This move came in the face of he failing to manage enough support from the majority shareholders of the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The U.S. regulators have slapped charges on a former executive of the company for insider trading saying that he had leaked sensitive information about the company&#8217;s impending takeover of the firm to his kith and kin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Legal imbroglio<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;Oreal SA has finally arrived at the settlement of the ongoing legal battle with eBay Inc. The details of this settlement, including the monetary considerations paid to L&#8217;Oreal SA, have not been divulged. L\u2019Oreal, now after this settlement, has expressed its acknowledgement for eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY)&#8217;s seriousness and commitment in the war against trespassing of intellectual property rights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sampo IP, LLC, which is a completely owned arm of Marathon Patent Group Inc, has charged eBay for infringement of its patent and filed a case on the said grounds in the District Court of Delaware. Sampo claims that this patent infringement pertains to the Patent number 8,015,495 in U.S.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paid Inc has slapped a lawsuit against eBay Inc.on charges of patent infringement. It has hired Hunton &amp; Williams LLP, an international legal firm for pleading its case. PAID has made claims that patent numbers 7,930,237, 8,352,357, 7,324,968 and 8,521,642, and are owned by it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Strategic collaborations<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has successfully finalized the acquisition of a company, Braintree for a total monetary consideration of roughly $800 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An eBay Inc. subsidiary, eBay Enterprise, has inked a deal with StubHub in an ambitious effort to provide client service solutions to increase the volume of its ticket sales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Westfield Group has collaborated with eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY)\u00a0To run a pilot that envisages united the real retail world with the virtual world of mobile and online purchases. Both these companies together are coming up with three digital stores during this holiday season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">eBay Enterprise has inked a long-term deal with Fifth &amp; Pacific Companies, Inc..
