The company exceeds Wall Street targets a thought they were its own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company looks strong to continue posting good results in 2014 and beyond. Look, the company is revamping properties to attract high-dollar tenants in locations that it is not already witnessing strong leases. In addition to property renovation, the company is also rebalancing its portfolio in what involves giving up ownership of underperforming assets and acquiring assets in promising locations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE:SLG) has a target of signing at least half a million square feet of spaces per quarter, and the most recent quarter was not a disappointment as the company signed 548,602 square feet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the company is witnessing its lease deals increasing, it is also experiencing overwhelming demand for office spaces. The company expects the renovation of its buildings and acquisition of more properties to improve its property portfolio so as to meet the demand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>High prices<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Real estate companies are not only facing strong demand for properties, but prices are also high. The combination of strong demand and high prices present a favorable business environment for real estate companies as revenue and profits soar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE:SLG) confirmed its strength in 1Q financial results reporting during which the company generated $381.1 million in revenue, translating to 41 percent increase from the revenue figure in the same quarter last year.
