Aldrich as the Board Chairman and the CEO of Skyworks. The decision was taken by the Board of Directors. In the meanwhile, the Prior Chairman, David J. McLachlan, was designated the task of continuing his job of being the member of the board of directors while also being the Lead Independent Director.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the same time, Liam K. Griffin, who served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager in the company, now took over as the President of the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Comments on the New Organisational Structure of Skyworks Solutions, Inc.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Griffin commented that the new organisational structure of the company would help them remain focussed on the strategic growth in the long term.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commenting on the changes in the executive positions of the Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Aldrich?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>David J. Aldrich has served as the Chief Executive Officer in Skyworks Solutions Inc. since April 2000.<\/li>\n<li>He has also remained the President of Skyworks Solutions Inc. since September 1999 till May 8, 2014.<\/li>\n<li>Apart from the Skyworks, Aldrich has remained the CEO as well as the President of Alpha Industries, Inc. since April 2000.<\/li>\n<li>He has also served as the Director of Belden, Inc. since February 2007.<\/li>\n<li>David J. Aldrich has a M.B.A degree from the University of Rhode Island.
