Apart from that, Comcast has announced the Q1 financial results for 2014. The financial results of Comcast show that the company is gradually growing and moving towards progress. Comcast and Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) together have reached an agreement on divestitures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The investor conference<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Executive Vice President of Comcast, on May 14, 2014, would be participating in the MoffettNathanson Media and Communications Summit, which is to be held in the New York City. The event would be webcast live on the official site of the company in the section called Investor Relations. A replay would be made available after the completion of the presentation but only on demand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Comcast to divest customers<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)\u00a0and Charter have reached an agreement regarding the number of transactions that would be tax-efficient. Comcast-Time Warner Cable entity, which would be formed after the completion of the merger between Comcast and Time Warner Cable, would divest systems. This act would lead to a total decrease of about 3.9 million customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Releases financial results for Q1<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently, Comcast has reported an increase in the revenue by a total 13.7% as compared to the Q1 of 2013. The operating cash flow increased this year by 10% on a year-over-year basis. The operating income of Comcast has also shown a growth of over 16.3%. The earning per share reported by Comcast in Q1 of 2014 is $0.71, which has also increased by a total of 31.5%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Comcast Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, namely, Brian L. Roberts has reported that the beginning of this year has witnessed a growth in sectors such as high-speed Internet services, video customers and business services. He said that the company has gained a continuing momentum as Comcast has entered the year 2014.
