Galena Biopharma has also recently reported that a pioneer of the company had won an award in technology transfer for excellence<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Company to release Q1 results<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Galena Biopharma made an announcement that, on May 6, 2014, it would be releasing the results for Q1 of 2014. The company would be releasing the results after the close of the market on that day. Galena Biopharma also announced that it would be discussing the financial results of Q1 with the people from the media and other interested investors and analysts or any other interested people through a conference call that would be conducted on the same day. The call would be webcast live on the company&#8217;s website in the investor&#8217;s relations sections. This webcast would be available on Galena Biopharma&#8217;s website for a period of ninety days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The conference update<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Galena Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:GALE)\u2019s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, namely, Mark J. Ahn, would be presenting a corporate update at the Health Care Conference to be organized by the Deutsche Bank. This would be the 39<sup>th<\/sup> conference. This conference would be held on May 7, 2014 at Boston, M.A at the InterContinental Hotel.
