Wells Fargo has planned to launch new small business loans to be made available to small businesses. It would be called Wells Fargo Works for Small Business<b><sup>SM<\/sup>. <\/b>This is a very noble initiative by the company wherein they not just helping the small business companies to grow, but also paving the path for the growth of the entire American nation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Increased dividend<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wells Fargo has decided to increase the quarterly common stock dividend to $0.40 from $0.35, which amounts to a 17% increase from the previous quarter. Wells Fargo &amp; Co (NYSE:WFC)<b>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Board of Directors has approved this. This dividend would become payable on June 1, 2014 to the common stockholders on record. On May 9, 2014 the dividend would become payable to the common stock shareholders on record.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the company, namely, John Stumpf, said that he has faith in Wells Fargo\u2019s diversified business model andbelieves that the company is all set for growth. The company has almost 5.3 billion outstanding shares. This increase in the dividend to be paid to the common stockholders was always a part of the 2014 Capital Plan of Wells Fargo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Loans for small businesses<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wells Fargo has decided to help out small businesses throughout the U.S. by delivering their resources, services and guidance. The company intends to help them achieve financial success. It looks forward to supporting them so that these small businesses can access capital, build knowledge and expand their community for support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Head of Small Business at Wells Fargo, namely Lisa Stevens said that it is important for the economy of America to fully prosper that small businesses grow. This would also increase the employment in the nation.
