The amount of the deal has not been disclosed yet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About itaas<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company was founded in 1999 and employees approximately 200 professionals across the U.S., Canada and India. It helps television providers and broadcasters, to deliver a broad range authenticated live streaming and digital video services on digital platforms. The digital video engineering and multiplatform capability of the company will help infrastructure of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp (NASDAQ:CTSH), which is working for media and communication industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant, Rajeev Mehta, welcomed itaas as a move towards their long term strategy of complement their existing offerings through sound acquisitions in sharp business capabilities. The move, as analysts say, is in line with the upcoming trends of multiplatform video and its usage for customer interaction. This acquisition will help Cognizant in creating and providing new business models for enterprises facing the market shifts and competitive pressures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Company focused on supplementing existing offerings.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp (NASDAQ:CTSH) \u00a0has reached 144<sup>th<\/sup> spot in largest companies in terms of market capitalization of S&amp;P 500 components.
