SunEdison has also been involved in a project that deals with the building of a solar power plant that would be able to generate almost 60 MW of energy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Date for conference call released<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SunEdison has invited persons to attend its conference, which is reported to be held on May 8, 2014. A live webcast of the call will take place. A recording of the call would be made available on the company\u2019s official website on May 22, 2014. The participants of the call from Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE)\u00a0would be the Chief Executive Officer of the company, namely, Ahmad Chatila and the Chief Financial Officer of the company, namely, Brian Wuebbels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The power plant<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SunEdison has declared that it has closed on construction financing underwritten by Deutsche Bank Securities. The company would be utilizing the funds to manufacture solar power plant that will be situated in the Kern County. This plant is believed to go operation by the year-end. This plant is called the Regulus solar power plant, which would be build of almost 250,000 SunEdison Silvantis\u2122 Photovoltaic Solar Modules. Once this plant becomes operation SunEdison would be providing 24X7 global monitoring, field dispatch, solar asset management services and others through its Renewable Operation Center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has reported that this project is the largest in North America and signifies that the solar market in California is growing. The President of SunEdison in North America, namely, Bob Powell, says that he is looking forward to being a part of the growing solar market in California.
