CDC expects to provide high bandwidth and low latency 100G network to serve financial service companies,\u00a0content delivery networks, service providers and\u00a0research institutions with the help of Ciena\u2019s platform. CDC aims to support applications including storage networking, cloud computing and big data for all these enterprises. It will also be additionally capable of providing carrier level connectivity to tier 3 and tier 2 network after binding out its examining and Internet exchange community. The installation is forecasted to complete in July this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Features<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CDC is proposing to deploy Ciena\u2019s 6500 Packet- Optical system that features WaveLogic Coherent Optical Processors and integrated switching provisions. This is the industry\u2019s most advanced and latest technology which would enable CDC to enhance its existing fiber to speeds of 100G by increasing capacity as well as the ability to provide transportation via 100G. Ciena\u2019s 6500 system is one of the important components of the its OP(n) architecture which is capable of delivering highly critical network abilities such as scale, network grade applications and programmability, so as to control network behavior with ease and reach up to user needs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ciena Corporation (NYSE:CIEN), the leader of coherent optical technology, has delivered as many as 35,000 coherent 40G or 100G line interfaces to more than 150 customers internationally. It has installed in over 35 million coherent km.
