The company provides a wide range of banking and financial solutions including wealth management and real estate loans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bank announced completion of real estate project financing for a commercial customer developing residential apartments in Manchester. First Niagara provided $28 million loan to Evergreen Crossing for the construction of residential complex that consists of 224 units of which 167 are two-bedroom apartments and 57 are one-bedroom apartments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The construction of the apartments that consist of six buildings is underway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First Niagara provides real estate financing solutions across multiple regions and states and its solutions capture a wide range of property types in areas including Ohio, New York, New Jersey, New England, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Longstanding relationship<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First Niagara Financial Group Inc. (NASDAQ:FNFG) and Evergreen have longstanding business relationship and the latest real estate financing is an extension of that relationship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Evergreen principal John Finguerra, the two companies have had excellent working relationship extending more than 30 years. Through the years, First Niagara or its predecessors have financed real estate projects for Evergreen in places such as Evergreen Walk and Buckland Hills in South Windsor and Manchester respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bank is currently financing some Evergreen projects in Mansfield, Manchester and South Windsor, said Mr. Finguerra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Real estate financing<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The success of First Niagara Financial Group Inc. (NASDAQ:FNFG) in real estate financing can be linked to the bank\u2019s quality products, excellent customer experience and broad network of customers that extend more than 30 years. However, like most banks, First Niagara is grappling with a challenging business environment where real estate deals have declined while operating costs have soared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company is keen on squeezing the most value out of the tepid real estate business.
