Tencent will buy the E-House\u2019s 15% stake in Lejo for $180 million. Lejo is a leading provider of online services for real estate business and expects its initial public offering.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Mutual benefits from collaboration<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tencent intends to provide additional services like e-commerce platform for real estate business to its existing customers and expand the payment solutions to new customers through Lejo. Tencent continues to establish its mobile based services by leveraging leadership position on the internet services in China. Tencent-Lejo partnership will further increase the customer base and offer real estate e-commerce platform for Weixin users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the past, E-House (China) Holdings Limited (ADR) (NYSE:EJ) has reported positive growth in revenues as well as profitability due to increasing in demand over online services, especially in real estate. In recent quarter ended in December 31, 2013, E-House posted a significant increase in revenue from e-commerce business that increases the revenues from online services by 126% YoY to $126.3 million. It also improved the adjusted (non-GAAP) operating profit to $48.1 million, up by 408% compared to $9.5 million in the prior year period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E-House expects increase in revenue from the new partnerships as it will provide a single platform for large number customers. The Company expects an increase of 20%-23% in revenue to reach ~$880 million &#8211; $900 million in FY2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Prospects<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, internet industry is gaining importance with growing demand for online services and more and more customers prefer to access most of their activities through internet. So, the companies are collaborating to provide a platform for such opportunities within the growing market. E-House also expects significant growth over online services especially e-commerce business in 2014.
