With the deployment of Cisco\u2019s NCS, Bright House seeks to support cloud computed services for businesses including call centre and hosted voice. U.S. First Cable Operator<\/b><\/p>\n
Cisco\u2019s NCS 6000 provides 1 terabits per second or Tbps line card which is capable of transporting as many as 5 Tbps per slot. The system has a total capacity of 1.2 petabits per second or Pbps which is configured as a multi chassis to back a converged IP (internet Protocol) and optical environment. This is the industry\u2019s first such high speed line card and Bright House will be the U.S. first cable operator to accomplish Master Service Provider Certification. The Certification is achieved under the Cisco Cloud and Managed Service Program.
