Access to research and development and capacity building, especially on mobile; coupled with path breaking innovation is the underlying understanding which will be leveraged in this partnership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)<b> <\/b>has also completed all discussions and has reached an agreement to accomplish the acquisition of Oculus VR, Inc<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ericsson and Facebook are coming together to create a joint innovation lab in support of the Internet.org initiative. This collaboration is looking to provide an environment for optimizing services, networks, applications and devices which would be of great value to over five billion Internet users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facebookhas added a new mobile feature called Nearby Friends that\u00a0will let users know when their friends are nearby through smartphone notifications. This tool can also be customized by users as per their requirement. This tool is the company\u2019s latest move into location sharing capabilities. Facebook has added the\u00a0ability\u00a0for its over 1.2 billion users to check into places just like they would on Foursquare Labs Inc.\u2019s mobile tool. In fact, it is Foursquare that popularized location sharing. Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) also has acquired a location tracking startup called Glancee and a location-based social network called Gowalla.
