However, the decline in the PC market has left the company gasping for breath. The company can be seen trying to balance out the decline in the PC business by moving into tablet and smartphone chip market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company currently lags behind market leaders such as <strong>QUALCOMM Inc (NASDAQ:QCOM)<\/strong> in mobile chip market. However, if the pitch by Intel\u2019s executives in China earlier this month is anything to go by, it might just be a matter of time before we start seeing big orders coming to Intel from the cheap tablet and smartphone makers in China.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Intel&#8217;s lack of a strong position in the mobile chip market is worrying Brian Krzanich, the chipmakers CEO who took over less than 12 months ago. In a presentation to Chinese computing executives earlier this month, Mr. Krzanich sought to convince the manufacturers that Intel was just a perfect partner for their low-cost tablet and smartphone market. He said that Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has the technology to deliver the chips that the manufacturers need to bring to the market cheap and best-performing devices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Winning over former friends<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) looks to tap into the fast growing tablet and smartphone market in China, the company is keen on winning its former PC customers such as Asus and Lenovo who are transitioning to mobile. The approach to winning over former customers that are moving into tablet and smartphone business is expected to help Intel to fast accelerate its growth in the mobile market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Subsidizing manufacturer<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">China, no doubt, presents a huge opportunity for mobile chipmakers. However, the market is more appealing for low-cost chip manufactures, and players from Taiwan have big orders in the market due to the cheap supplies.
