Since May 2013, the company has toiled to add useful features to GeForce Experience by adding things like Shadowplay, Gamestream, and Twitch broadcasting. Brief descriptions of those features are as follows:<\/p>\n

Gamestream:<\/b><\/p>\n
This shield could be the key unique selling proposition for NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) in the future with respect to hand held devices. This facility allows users the ability to stream PC games from their Nvidia-equipped PC to portable devices without experiencing any latency.<\/p>\n
Twitch Broadcasting:<\/b><\/p>\n
Twitch broadcasting is a service provided to gamers by Nvidia. This service allows gamers to broadcast live to the world at large. This service is available for PC gamers, console gamers and also mobile gamers. While many developers have inculcated this broadcasting functionality, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA)\u2019s avatar can be considered to be the slickest and with universal appeal.<\/p>\n
Ideally, none of the above mentioned features are essential to selling hardware and graphic cards which is the staple for Nvidia. However, the company has spent considerable effort in releasing this update. The version 2.0 marks a milestone by making features like Shadowplay and Gamestream making their way to gaming notebooks for the first time in history.<\/p>\n
On desktop PCs, Shadowplay would now be available with desktop capture support, allowing the user to record and broadcast both windowed and borderless windowed games. The update also allows for creation of a much better environment for those gamers who are serious with their Twitch streams and also boosts Let\u2019s Play producers. The capability of broadcasting 720p at 60 frames per second is also a significant challenge for paid solutions like XSplit.
