The Company according to its Chief executive officer experienced robust growth throughout the year especially in the property and casualty business as well as claims adjusting business. The year also saw the company\u2019s operating expense to revenue drop as a result of effective cost cutting measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Fourth quarter earnings<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Total revenues<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNinsure Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ:CISG) total revenue for the fourth quarter came in at $83.2 million an increase of 15.6% for the quarter compared to the same quarter the prior year. The increase in revenue was mainly as a result of the growth of revenues in P&amp;C insurance business as well as claims adjustment segment. P&amp;C insurance segment contributed 73.6% of the total revenue, life insurance 9.6% and claims adjusting businesses 16.8%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Operating costs and expenses<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNinsure operating expenses and costs for the quarter came in at $80.9 million an increase of 14% compared to the same quarter the prior year. General and administrative expenses were up by 0.7% for the quarter with selling expenses on the other hand also increasing by 27.5%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Operating margin<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNinsure Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ:CISG) operating margin for the quarter came in at 2.9% compared to 1.5% reported for the same period in 2012. Net income for the quarter also improved by 8% to $3.6 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Full year results<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Total revenue for full year was up by 10.8% coming in at $290.2 million Total operating expenses for the full year came in at $287.3 million representing an increase of 14.4% compared to 2012. CNinsure operating margin for the year was down to a low of 1% compared to a high of 4.2% reported in 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNinsure interest income for the full year came in at $13.9 million a drop of 6.7% compared to highs of RMB 90.3 million reported in F2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNinsure Inc.
