(NYSEMKT:MEET)<\/b> which is a leading social network, used for meeting new people announced it expects revenue for its fourth quarter to come in at $13 million which will be an increase of 12% compared to the same quarter the prior year. Despite the positive expectations on its earnings, the company stock is still rated as a \u201cSell\u201d in the market with the company showing signs of weakness in some of its key areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The improved revenue seems not to have caught the eyes of analysts at Wall Street even though it is way above the initially set estimates of $11.25 million. The company is expected to release its earnings on March 14, 2014. MeetMe currently commands a weak return on equity ratio that is scaring many investors accompanied by a weak performance of the stock over the past year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Highlights of the Sell rating<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MeetMe Inc. (NYSEMKT:MEET) return on equity ratio for the current quarter is lower than that of a similar quarter a year ago which clearly defines the company\u2019s weakness. The company\u2019s return on equity ratio also trails that of the software and service industry as well as that of the S&amp;P 500 index.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MeetMe Inc. (NYSEMKT:MEET) stock has also underperformed in terms of share price compared to the S&amp;P 500 index having dropped by highs of 12.79% over the past year. The company\u2019s stock is currently selling for less than that of the other industry players<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MeetMe revenues have been on a downward trend, underperforming compared to the industry average of 16.5%. Compared to the same quarter a year ago the stock price has depreciated by 13.1% although the decline has not hurt the company\u2019s bottom line<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MeetMe Inc. (NYSEMKT:MEET) debt to equity ratio currently stands at 0.09 slightly higher than that of the industry average.
