Approximately 6.6 million Vipshop shares exchanged hands during the rally in the Tuesday trading session, this was a massive surge of 424% compared to the previous day trading volumes of 1.3 million shares exchanging hands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Why Vipshop was Surging in the market<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vipshop Holdings Ltd \u2013ADR (NYSE:VIPS) reported earnings per share of $0.49 beating consensus estimates of $0.41 earnings per share by $0.08. The company revenue for the quarter was also up by 117.3% compared to the same quarter a year ago earnings also toppling consensus estimates of $559.43 million. There is no doubt that the company is all set to produce even stellar performance in the current quarter and full year<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vipshop Holdings Ltd \u2013ADR (NYSE:VIPS) is enjoying its best time considering Active customers grew by 1.7 million in the fourth quarter compared to the same quarter a year ago, with total orders also surging by highs of 51% in the fourth quarter and 102% for the full year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vipshop Holdings Ltd \u2013ADR (NYSE:VIPS) stock has continued its rally for the past four years having grown by 24.1% in the past four weeks alone and above the 20 day moving average.
