The company has managed to show improvements in many fundamentals and looks set to repeat its performance in coming days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<b>Stock Upgrades:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Several analysts have recently upgraded the stock on account of the company\u2019s performance. The performance is also boosted with reports about improved Mississippian well profile; both in terms of performance as well as costs. There has been a decline in well cost to $2.9 million. SandRidge Energy Inc (NYSE:SD) recently declared its fourth quarter and full year 2013 financial results. The company beat analysts\u2019 expectations on the net income side. The company reported adjusted net income of $14.9 million translating to $0.03 per share. This was mainly on account of a sequential 8% rise in production. On a pro forma basis, this translates to a 44% rise over last year. About 80 wells were brought online during the quarter. SandRidge also reported cash flows of $218 million for the fourth quarter and $812 million for the full year 2013. Production exceeded guidance by 1% while capital spending was 2% lower than the company\u2019s guidance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SandRidge Energy Inc (NYSE:SD) also reported some good news in their exploration. Five appraisal wells drilled in Sumner County yielded better than expected results. Two Chester wells also delivered above average results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>International News:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, international news also provided some good news to SandRidge Energy Inc (NYSE:SD). The Ukraine crisis has deepened and does not show any signs of a peaceful resolution. If prolonged, Russia\u2019s European supplies may get affected. Russia has taken steps to safeguard these supplies. But if the conflict converts into a full blown armed conflict, Europe may have to turn to non-Russian suppliers for their fuel needs. This will put pressure on crude oil prices. They are expected to rise northwards.
