NCI Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT) <\/b>a leading provider of information technology, professional services and solutions to the US federal government posted strong fourth quarter results for the period ending December 31, 2013. Fourth quarter revenue camein at $80 million exceeding a guidance of $7 million. The quarter\u2019s revenue was still a decline of 10.9% compared to years ago same quarter earnings of $89.7.<\/p>\n
The decline in revenue for the quarter was as a result of the expiration of contracts and certain task orders from the company\u2019s PEO Soldier program. The net revenue was partially offset by the awarding of new contracts during the quarter. GAAP operating income came in at $3.8 million with the operating margin for the quarter standing at 4.7%.<\/p>\n
GAAP net income stood at $2 millionwhile total revenue for the full year came in at $332.3 million compared to $368 million registered in F2012. Operating income for the full year stood at $14. 1 million while GAAP net income came in at $7.7 million. NCI cash flow due to its operating activities stood at $17.3 million.<\/p>\n
