Nikkei said that almost all the CMOS rear-mounted sensors for the current iPhones are supplied by Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:SNE). The daily added that Apple might opt for Sony sensors for its front-facing cameras for the iPhones too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The suppliers <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) apparently supplies Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) with over 100M on an annual basis and a major portion of these are used in iPhones said the business daily. But this number might double in the next-gen Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) products, said the report. Orders from <b>Apple Inc <\/b><b>(NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/b> can have a profound impact on the investment plans for the companies that supply various components for the company\u2019s iPhone and the iPad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>The catalyst<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sharp is an example in time. The company has invested very heavily in a certain LCD manufacturing capacity to ensure that it is able to supply <b>Apple Inc <\/b><b>(NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/b> with the displays it needs in the iPads.
