The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG)<\/b> says that the mission of the Charmin project is to \u201csurprise and delight people.\u201d And that surprise and delight is about people having a more enjoyable go. That is according to GP\u2019s Regional Brand Director Scott Mautz. And firefighters are at the heart of this charity action. When the company learnt that firefighters were using their own money to buy toilet paper, more than 70,000 rolls of Charmin toilet paper brand were donated to the Detroit Fire Department. That was way back in 2012. And as recent as last year, Charmin made another toilet paper donation, sending 10,000 rolls to the Moonachie Fire Department, New Jersey.<\/p>\n
The Moonachie Fire Department was being rebuilt after the Hurricane Sandy aftermath when the Charmin donation was made.<\/p>\n
Everyone knows that firefighters are to act, if possible, with speed of light when someone dials 9-1-1.
