With effect from 6 February, \u201cThe Americans\u201d is available to all <b>Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) <\/b>Prime customers. On 26 February, the \u201cThe Americans,\u201d Season 2 is slated to debut on FX and it will be starring Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys. This deal was announced by Chase Carey, the COO of 21st Century Fox.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>More content <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from \u201cThe Americans\u201d, In March, Amazon Prime customers will have instant access to 5 more series- \u201cIt\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,\u201d 20th Century Fox Television\u2019s first 8 seasons of \u201cHow I Met Your Mother\u201d, \u201cArcher \u201c,\u201cThe League\u201d, and\u00a0 \u201cLouie\u201d\u00a0 All of these series will be aired via non-exclusive deals. \u201cThe Americans,\u201d was selected as 1 of AFI\u2019s top -10 Television series for 2013. It has an early-1980\u2019s setting and the story revolves around a couple of KGB spies who are posing as a married couple and are in area of Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Other pilots<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Thursday, separately, <b>Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN)<\/b> launched 10 pilots. These included \u201cThe After\u201d, the supernatural thriller by Chris Carter and \u201cBosch,\u201d the cop drama that has been written by Michael Connelly and Eric Overmyer, in the company\u2019s 2nd wave of pilots. The Amazon studio will be making use of viewer feedback to decide which of these shows can be greenlighted as full series. Eventually, these picked shows will be available to Amazon prime members. This is the company\u2019s free-shipping program and includes unlimited access to various streaming video titles. This service is in direct competition with Netflix but that is not stopping the company from consistently adding licensed content to its service.
