On average, analysts hope that the company will register revenue in the region of $218 million, translating to a double growth from what was reported in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE:MRK)<\/b> gained around 85 cents in pre-market trading after the company delivered satisfying results for fiscal 2013 fourth quarter. The company reported earning 88 cents per share for the three months period, just in-line with analysts\u2019 estimate of 88 cents. Revenue for the quarter was registered at $11.3 billion, comparing with $11.39 billion that analysts expected. MRK\u2019s F2014 revenue outlook is a bit wanting in that the company expects this column to come in the range of $42.4 – $43.2 billion while analysts are training their eyes on $43.35 billion. However, earnings estimate for F2014 is uplifting in that MRK is targeting to hit in the range of $3.35-$3.53 while analysts are pegging hope on $3.48.<\/p>\n
