The internet is ripping apart far-left Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed<\/a> after a bizarre “Blue\u2019s Clues” themed campaign video resurfaced, pleading for votes while dancing and singing along to a jingle from the children\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

The clip begins with El-Sayed mimicking the “Mail Time” segment in Blue\u2019s Clues. The candidate for U.S. Senate mirrors the host\u2019s exaggerated dance movements, including a little butt wag, and recites the song. He even dons the signature green-stripe collard shirt.<\/p>\n

“Here’s the mail, it never fails, it makes me want to wag my tail. When it comes I want to wail, \u2018Mail!\u2019” El-Sayed recites at the onset of the campaign video.<\/p>\n

EL-SAYED PALS AROUND WITH FAR-LEFT STREAMER HASAN PIKER THE DAY BEFORE CRUCIAL MICHIGAN SENATE ELECTION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Michigan socialist<\/a> then pulls out a ballot from the mailbox, which reads “Abdul for Senate,” and goes on to explain the details and regulations for turning in a ballot.<\/p>\n

“It looks like my ballot,” El-Sayed says in the video. “And with it, I can participate in democracy.”<\/p>\n

He then continues to tell the viewers the dates by which the ballot must be turned in and postmarked to be counted. He did so, however in the same tone as how the “Blue’s Clues” host speaks to his child audience.<\/p>\n

“Vote ski-doo, we can too!” El-Sayed said while shrinking and disappearing into the “Abdul for Senate” picture frame behind him.<\/p>\n

This copied yet another bit from the television series, “Blue\u2019s Skidoo, we can too!”, where the host would became part of the cartoon background.<\/p>\n

“Um, wut?” Sen. Ted Cruz<\/a>, R-Texas, posted to X about the video.<\/p>\n

The clip went viral<\/a> on social media Wednesday, with supporters from the left arguing the video is playful campaigning. Meanwhiole, conservatives tore into El-Sayed for being cringe and infantilizing the election process by appearing to intentionally direct to campaign video to children.<\/p>\n

El-Sayed’s campaign did not respond to Fox News Digital\u2019s request for comment on the video.<\/p>\n

“This is genuinely disgusting and patronizing,” one user said. “Treating adult citizens and massive economic issues like a gentle episode of Blue\u2019s Clues is a complete joke. Stop weaponizing our childhood nostalgia for a cynical election campaign. We aren’t children, and we want real.”<\/p>\n

“Could be the worst thing I\u2019ve ever seen in my life,” said another.<\/p>\n

Yet another user wrote: “Perhaps the most cringeworthy political advert I\u2019ve ever seen. You could hold a gun to my head and I\u2019d still not film this video. What sort of voter finds it appealing to be spoken to like a toddler watching Blue\u2019s Clues?”<\/p>\n

“Perfectly appropriate if one believes his voters have the intellect of 4 year olds. It\u2019s so much easier to trick them into socialism at that age.<\/p>\n

“No one should be allowed to vote for this,” another user said. “Like, no one. Sorry. This cannot be encouraged.”<\/p>\n

HALEY STEVENS CONDEMNS HASAN PIKER BUT RALLIES BEHIND EL-SAYED AFTER NARROW PRIMARY LOSS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The video was part of the early days of El-Sayed\u2019s campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, after narrowly beating moderate Rep. Haley Stevens , D-Mich., in the cutthroat primary election on Aug. 5, the clip has reemerged and gone viral. El-Sayed will go face-to-face with Republican Mike Rogers in the battle for Michigan\u2019s Senate seat in November.<\/p>\n

The controversial progressive has campaigned with socialist streamer Hasan Piker<\/a>, known for saying “America deserved 9\/11,” praising Mao Zedong and Communist China, arguing that capitalists should be murdered in the streets and spewing a litany of antisemitic bile.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
