Angel Reese<\/a> saw all the attention Sophie Cunningham has been getting the past few weeks, and decided to let her play on the court do all the talking.<\/p>\n

And buddy, that has proved to be just an awful strategy.<\/p>\n

Reese, who earlier this week claimed no black Barbie dolls existed when she was a kid (they’ve been around since the Carter Administration), went viral Monday night after putting up one of the worst basketball shots in the history of the game.<\/p>\n

That’s right. I’m not talking about just the WNBA<\/a>. I’m talking about all of basketball. WNBA. NBA. Pee-wee. Rec league. Neighborhood court.<\/p>\n

You name it. You will be hard-pressed to find a worse shot attempt than this:<\/p>\n

My God. I can’t stop watching. What a sight. What a shot. What a league.<\/p>\n

Man, is the WNBA the best, or what? I think they should just cancel football season and let us watch the WNBA for the next five months.<\/p>\n

Just kidding. Please don’t do that. The country would burn.<\/p>\n

Reese, by the way, finished Monday’s loss to the Aces<\/a> with respectable numbers. Better than that, actually. She put up 23 points on 10-19 shooting, and added 16 rebounds.<\/p>\n

One of those rebounds, and two of those points, came after <\/i>this incredible shot, by the way.<\/p>\n

I mean, it’s just perfect. Everything about that clip is perfect.<\/p>\n

“Honestly, I didn\u2019t have a lot of dolls because I didn\u2019t have dolls that really looked like me much,” Reese said before the loss. “That\u2019s why I kind of really wanted to make sure this was super intentional, because now that they have a doll that looks like you, nails and hair, but also you can be a killer on the court as well.”<\/p>\n

Again, Mattel introduced Christie, a Black character in Barbie\u2019s world, in 1968. The first doll officially named Black Barbie arrived in 1980, more than two decades before Reese was born.<\/p>\n
