Brie Bella was noticeably grabbing her right shoulder during a six-woman tag team match at WWE SummerSlam<\/a> on Saturday night as she appeared to suffer an injury.<\/p>\n

Bella was seated next to the steel steps when her opponent, Jacy Jayne, hit a running senton on her. At that moment, she began to clutch her shoulder and kept rubbing it during the rest of the match with her sister Nikki Bella and Paige.<\/p>\n

Nikki Bella attacked Paige at the end of the match, signaling a villainous turn to their characters. She provided an update on Brie in an interview on Busted Open Radio<\/a> on Sunday before the second night of the premium live event began.<\/p>\n

“She\u2019s doing OK. She is in a lot of pain,” Nikki Bella said of Brie. “They are still determining what\u2019s going on. Brie will share that whenever. \u2026 I\u2019ve been told to \u2018zip it.\u2019”<\/p>\n

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque told reporters after Night 1 that the injury “seems pretty bad.”<\/p>\n

“Yeah, she\u2019s injured,” he said. “I don\u2019t have an update yet. We\u2019ve taken her. She was here, got some treatment done here, has been taken to the hospital to get some scans done. Don\u2019t have a clean answer on it yet.<\/p>\n

“I know she hurt her shoulder. It seems pretty bad, but I don\u2019t have an answer yet. Hopefully we will soon. Hopefully, it won\u2019t be as bad as we thought it was, but that\u2019s the nature of the game.”<\/p>\n

The Bellas and Paige teamed up against Jayne, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. Jayne scored the pinfall over Paige to give her team the win.<\/p>\n

Brie Bella made her stunning return to WWE at the Royal Rumble<\/a> in January and then was set to team with her sister at WrestleMania 42 before Nikki Bella suffered her own injury.<\/p>\n

Instead, she teamed with Paige<\/a> as they won the WWE Women\u2019s Tag Team Championship.<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s unclear when Brie Bella will be able to return to the ring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
