Her “Choosin’ Texas” anthem placed at No. 1 on the\u00a0Billboard Hot 100 charts<\/a>, marking not only its 14th week at the top, but also tying a record with two iconic hits.<\/p>\n

Langley, 27, called the career milestone “insane” in a post shared on Instagram stories shortly after earning the spot.<\/p>\n

The country ballad first topped the Hot 100 in February, and now matches Mariah Carey<\/a>‘s “We Belong Together” and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” for most weeks at No. 1 among non-holiday titles by women with no male-billed acts.<\/p>\n

In addition, “Choosing Texas” ties Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for second-longest ranking hit.<\/p>\n

Langley broke onto the country music scene<\/a> nearly a decade ago, and released her debut studio album, “Hungover,” in 2024.<\/p>\n

The catalog brought her immediate accolades with hits including “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Weren’t for the Wind” both reaching No. 1 on country<\/a> charts.<\/p>\n

Her sophomore release, “Dandelion,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 upon its release in April.<\/p>\n

“Choosin’ Texas” not only capped the Billboard Hot 100, but recently earned Langley the title of first female artist to simultaneously top the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.<\/p>\n

“I learned that dandelion tea is actually a natural detox for the liver,”\u00a0Ella\u00a0told Billboard<\/a> ahead of the release.\u00a0“So a record called\u00a0Dandelion\u00a0after a record called\u00a0hungover\u00a0made all the sense in the world to me.”<\/p>\n
