Ed Harris didn’t hold back when talking about his experience working on “Dutton Ranch.”<\/p>\n

The “Yellowstone<\/a>” spinoff from Taylor Sheridan became an instant hit on Paramount+ when season one premiered. It felt like the perfect continuation of the Dutton saga<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harris stars in the show as veterinarian and war veteran Everett McKinney \u2013 a man with a kind heart and violent capabilities.<\/p>\n

Everett was one of my favorite characters in season one, but it turns out Harris didn’t have a great time filming the show.<\/p>\n

Harris revealed<\/a> in an interview with Variety<\/a> that his early experience on the show was so bad that he was ready to say, “Get me the f** out of here.”<\/p>\n

“Prior to signing on for it, I was talked to quite a bit about what the season was, and what my character was going to do and that I was one of the four main characters. And that wasn\u2019t really the case,” Harris said in an interview with Variety.<\/p>\n

He explained that when watching the season that he realized his character was “relatively important to the story but the doing of it did not feel that way.”<\/p>\n

The popular actor also teased an expanded role in season two with “a little bit more to do.”<\/p>\n

Well, in terms of being blunt and honest, good luck finding someone in Hollywood who gives more straightforward comments.<\/p>\n

I think it’s safe to say Harris was very disappointed with how the situation unfolded behind the scenes. The interesting thing is the fact that Everett definitely feels like a major character.<\/p>\n
