A man crashed into Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z’s<\/a> wooden gate outside their East Hampton home on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.<\/p>\n

According to the police report obtained by Fox News Digital, the man was identified as Keith Jonathan Webster, 63, and he resides in the Bronx. Webster was charged with a felony criminal mischief<\/a> in the second degree, and a misdemeanor for criminal trespass in the third degree.<\/p>\n

Per the police report, Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z’s front gate suffered “significant front end damage.” A witness saw Webster driving at “a high rate of speed up the driveway” and did not stop until he broke the gate down and was on the celebrity couple’s driveway.<\/p>\n

Webster’s vehicle was impounded and kept as evidence. The report stated that he was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital after revealing an injury while he was being processed. After Webster went to the hospital, he was released back into police custody.<\/p>\n

According to the East Hampton Press<\/a>, Webster had his arraignment on Thursday. Justice Steven Tekulsky issued a stay-away order of protection, banning the 63-year-old from attempting to contact Beyonc\u00e9 or Jay-Z. The outlet stated that Webster appeared “disorientated” during the arraignment and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital\u2019s mental health facility to be evaluated.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant Jennifer Dunn said that Webster’s motive is still under investigation<\/a> and she shared that he does not have a criminal record, per the East Hampton Press.<\/p>\n

It is unclear whether Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z were home at the time of the incident. Fox News Digital has reached out to the couple for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
