A comedian and social media personality says she delivered a cake bearing a provocative message about the late Sen. Lindsey Graham<\/a>, R-S.C., to the senator’s Capitol Hill office, according to posts she shared online.<\/p>\n

“I just dropped this cake off at Lindsey Graham’s office,” Elizabeth Booker Houston wrote in a Tuesday X post<\/a>. “Congratudolences, Darline! Your brother is burning in hell, and now, you’re working for the devil!”<\/p>\n

She included a photo of the cake that featured a printed photograph of Graham smiling in a suit and tie.<\/p>\n

White frosting bordered the cake, with blue icing roses decorating the top left corner and scattered around the edges. Across the top, the cake read, “CONGRATUDOLENCES!”\u2014a play on the words “congratulations” and “condolences.”<\/p>\n

Some replies to the post were positive, with one person writing, “You\u2019re truly doing god’s work,” and another saying “Elizabeth, I love you. When I grow up I want to be just like you.”<\/p>\n

But many replies to Houston\u2019s post were negative, with one person writing, “You really need a different hobby if you were so invested in politics that this is what you resort to. Good thing I wasn’t there because you would’ve been wearing your cake.”<\/p>\n

Another person wrote, “It\u2019s funny that you think anyone will see that cake other than the intern who throws it away. Complete waste of time and money,” with a clown face emoji.<\/p>\n

Someone else said, “Get a life. I wasn\u2019t a fan of Lindsey, but this is ridiculous. Your hatred is rotting [your] brain.”<\/p>\n

Graham, 71, died Saturday night<\/a>. An autopsy performed on Sunday<\/a> suggested that Graham died from aortic dissection<\/a> due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The news stunned Washington, as Graham was one of the body’s most active members and was even scheduled to appear on “Meet the Press” Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

A statement from Graham\u2019s office read, “The death certificate will be PENDING until all the toxicological and microscopic testing<\/a> are finalized, and at that point the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death.”<\/p>\n

Darline Graham, Lindsey Graham\u2019s sister, was sworn in on Tuesday<\/a> to finish the term of her late brother.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to Graham\u2019s office, Houston, and the United States Capitol Police for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
