Kai Trump<\/a>, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump who is set to play collegiate golf for the Miami Hurricanes, spoke at the ESPYs on Wednesday about showing her life through her video blog.<\/p>\n

Trump has given her followers and supporters of the president and inside look at what it\u2019s like to be a part of the first family<\/a> while she navigates her own life.<\/p>\n

“Honestly, I kind of stay out of politics completely. It\u2019s just not my thing,” she told Sportico<\/a>. “I just like showing my life and showing how you can still be an athlete and you can still do a ton of other things and enjoy a ton of other things.<\/p>\n

“So, I just kind like showing people that everything\u2019s possible and I love just showing the new generation my progress through college, eventually, but obviously how I got to where I am today.”<\/p>\n

When asked what she thought about politics intersecting with sports, Trump said again she tries to stay out of the political realm.<\/p>\n

“Honestly, I just stay out of politics. It\u2019s not my thing,” she said. “But I think the UFC event was great and it was really cool being there and especially having veterans in the stadium<\/a> as well, that\u2019s where you can kinda combine the (America) 250 point of view on it. But I thought it was great.”<\/p>\n

Trump is set to make her collegiate debut<\/a> soon. She is one of two freshmen on the team, which also includes Bella Dovhey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
