Major League Wrestling\u2019s (MLW) alliances with other promotions around the world allow the opportunity for some star-studded matches and it\u2019s already been seen.<\/p>\n

Shotzi Blackheart<\/a> recently defended the MLW Women\u2019s World Championship against Kira, of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), on the latest episode of “Fusion.” She could also have the chance to go up against anyone from the Stardom roster. The possibilities are seemingly endless.<\/p>\n

However, there\u2019s one singles match she\u2019s hoping to get a shot at. And that\u2019s against CMLL world women\u2019s champion<\/a> Persephone. The two locked horns in a fatal four-way match in April but Shotzi is hoping that she gets another opportunity.<\/p>\n

“Oh my god. I touched her a teeny, little bit during Mania week<\/a>,” she recalled to Fox News Digital. “I had a four-way (match) with her and I can already tell you we have chemistry.<\/p>\n

“I want a one-on-one against her so badly. She is so strong. so fierce. She’s intense. She is just so intense. I got like a little taste of her, but I need a one-on-one.”<\/p>\n

Persephone has been the CMLL world women\u2019s champion since March when she dethroned Mercedes Mon\u00e9. She\u2019s often been seen on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) programming as the company also has a partnership with CMLL<\/p>\n

For now, Shotzi will turn her attention to MLW\u2019s Skyscrapers \u2013 Donovan Dijak and Josh Bishop. She will be in the corner of Mads Krule Krugger and The Good Brothers \u2013 Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows \u2013 as they go up against the tag team champions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
