The sports world awaits LeBron James\u2019 decision as to where he will sign during the NBA offseason.<\/p>\n

If the rumor mill is correct, James is deciding among the Golden State Warriors<\/a>, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers. He spent the last eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers, bringing the team a championship during the coronavirus pandemic-affected season.<\/p>\n

Iman Shumpert, one of James\u2019 teammates with the Cavaliers, gave his take on where he should sign.<\/p>\n

“If this is about a ring, go to Philly,” he said on the “Shump Street”<\/a> podcast. “If this is about selling tickets Miami. If this about ending your career the way it should go, go to Cleveland. Just don\u2019t go to Cleveland trying to be happy about a win because you not going to win there. You\u2019re not going to be happy. This is about the return tour. This is not about winning. Don\u2019t you dare go over there thinking it\u2019s rolling with the winners.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t know what\u2019s up with them during the playoffs, don\u2019t do it. I\u2019ve been on a team with LeBron when he was frustrated and he felt like he got too much going on. He going to start shipping s— out of there, man. LeBron works for UPS, I\u2019m telling y\u2019all.”<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear when James will make<\/a> his decision. It\u2019s also unclear what James is truly looking for in a team and how long he will play for that organization.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s proven he could still play at a high level. But by the end of the year, he will be turning 42 and the longevity he\u2019s used to having on the court may deteriorate at any moment.<\/p>\n

Last season, James gave the Lakers<\/a> 60 games. He averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. He ended up leaving Los Angeles in the offseason.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
