Jake Hager, a former WWE champion and All Elite Wrestling<\/a> (AEW) star, took a second turn in the Power Slap arena on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Hager was going slap-for-slap against Amanpreet Singh. The former sport shooter lined up his right hand against Hager. He slapped him with full force and Hager fell backward to the officials and was knocked out.<\/p>\n

The final slap occurred in the third round. Hager ate two meaty slaps prior to Singh\u2019s final shot. Hager was stunned on the ground as Singh ripped off his shirt in celebration. Hager didn\u2019t immediately respond to the knockout defeat.<\/p>\n

It was the first Power Slap loss for Hager since he made his debut in April. He defeated Devin Jenkins in a third-round knockout before going up against Singh.<\/p>\n

Hager announced he was going to take a chance at Power Slap in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He came into the company with a background in amateur wrestling and mixed martial arts<\/a>. He set a single-season record for the most pins in the 285-pound weight class with the Oklahoma Sooners. He also had four bouts with Bellator, going 3-0 with the company with one no contest.<\/p>\n

Hager was in professional wrestling from 2006 to 2025. He appeared in WWE, Lucha Underground, Major League Wrestling<\/a> and AEW over the years.<\/p>\n

He held WWE\u2019s World Heavyweight Championship, ECW Championship, United States Championship and won the Money in the Bank ladder match during his time there. He was a part of Chris Jericho\u2019s Inner Circle with AEW.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
