Dunkin’ is celebrating America’s 250th birthday<\/a> by offering a limited-edition Dunkin’ eagle cup, designed with a clear base topped with a sculpted eagle lid.<\/p>\n

“Whether you’re sipping a vibrant Refresher or a classic iced coffee, this collectible turns every drink<\/a> into a celebration,” Dunkin’ said in a news release.<\/p>\n

The cup quickly gained traction online. Even before it appeared in stores, Dunkin’ announced that guests “may have already spotted the eagle cup taking flight across social media.”<\/p>\n

“Run to Dunkin’ because today is the day!” Instagram user @rebeldealz captioned<\/a> a clip showing a visit to Dunkin’ to secure a cup.<\/p>\n

Multiple other users on the platform commented on the post saying they bought several of the cups.<\/p>\n

“I also got 3 because they are already reselling on eBay for 50 bucks,” one user wrote.<\/p>\n

A Reddit thread focused on users missing out on the limited-edition Barbie pink pineapple cup that Dunkin’ dropped earlier this summer showed many celebrating getting their hands on the eagle cup.<\/p>\n

“When the pineapple cup dropped, my job had me away from my usual Dunkin’ (or any Dunkin’ really), and every location I tried after work were long sold out,” one Reddit user wrote. “My job did the same thing to me today, but I managed to get to my morning Dunkin’ spot today and snag one. Hurray.”<\/p>\n

Dunkin’ is having fun with the cup’s rollout. A company Instagram post<\/a> comparing facts about a real eagle with the eagle cup garnered 21,000 likes and more than 400 comments.<\/p>\n

“Dunkin’ eagle cup can be spotted across any room,” the Massachusetts-based company wrote alongside a picture of the cup, next to a picture of an actual eagle and the message, “The bald eagle can spot prey from over two miles away.”<\/p>\n

“Thankfully, I read this before poking my straw into a bald eagle. Whew,” an Instagram commenter wrote.<\/p>\n

Dunkin’ has rolled out a special “star-spangled lineup of limited-time beverages and bakery treats inspired by the flavors, colors and traditions of summer’s biggest holiday,” the company announced. It’s also selling an “Americana-themed summer merch collection.”<\/p>\n

“Dunkin’ is bringing the energy of America’s 250th birthday to every part of the menu,” Anthony Epter, vice president of menu innovation at Dunkin’, said in a news release.<\/p>\n

“Inspired by Fourth of July traditions, we’ve created a lineup of beverages, bakery treats<\/a> and the collectible eagle cup that make every Dunkin’ run a little more festive and every sip a celebration.”<\/p>\n

The “Star-Spangled Sips and Summer Flavors” features “nostalgic flavors, colorful toppings and indulgent twists,” according to Dunkin’. Some of the offerings include variations of fruity lemonades and a selection of flavored frozen coffees<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dazzleberry Coolatta, which is blue-raspberry-flavored, is topped with whipped cream and “patriotic sprinkles.”<\/p>\n

Dunkin’s bakery case is filled with limited-time treats<\/a>, including doughnuts and Munchkins (doughnut holes), dressed in red, white and blue.<\/p>\n

The Rocket Pop Donut features “a star-shaped yeast shell with Rocket Pop-flavored filling, topped with blue icing and a stars-and-stripes sprinkle blend,” while the Stars & Stripes Donut is “dipped in blue icing and topped with festive red, white and blue sprinkles.”<\/p>\n

The eagle cup is priced at $10.99 and available nationwide while supplies last. Twenty cups are available at each location, according to Dunkin’.<\/p>\n

Each eagle cup purchase includes a medium beverage.<\/p>\n
